With nearly a foot of new snow, course conditions were fantastic for this year’s 2026 Fab 15Km race. Skiers raved about the course, which included Scales Lake Rd, Kannah Crossing, Vista Ridge, Scales, Sunset and Lions. Racers appreciated the downhill finish.

Egor Gavrilov threw down and established a substantial lead, finishing more than two minutes ahead of second place finisher Kevin Koch. Allen Tyler finished third. In the women’s race, Jen Amstadter skied a very strong race to finish ahead of perennial top finished Gwynn Barrow and third place finisher Amanda Kirkeby. Anna Gavrilova was the top classic skier in this freestyle race, looking good as always in her high fashion kit. Dave Knutson showed that he knows that really matters, by taking his time to enjoy a beautiful day on the Mesa.
