Age Group winners in the Empowered Energy Systems Race Series with the minimum qualifying events won signature wine glasses. Sorry wine not included.

Age Group assignment is determined by each racers age as of their age on their first race of the season. Remember, each racer’s best 4 results are counted for the final results so those with 5 races have their lowest result dropped. To qualify, skiers have to complete at least 4 events out of the 5 races plus the Friluftsliv Skiathon.

The GMNC with the help of Empowered Energy Systems and a fabulous crew of volunteers and staff managed to pull of another successful season of ski racing on Grand Mesa despite the challenging lack of snow. All of the enthusiastic skiers made the age group competitions quite exciting. The Men’s 60’s age group, in particular, was extremely tight and hard fought. Russel Bollig came from behind to capture the win in the last race barely edging past Feeble Ilg and Peter Marshall. Major kudos to everyone that competed and gave it their best throughout!
