The GMNC is hiring an Events Coordinator. The EC will work with the Executive Director to organize events, coordinate volunteers, and help with event publicity. Pay range is $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a part-time staff job, budgeted for approximately 215 hours over the course of the season (October to early April), and will require about 5 to 12 hours per week, depending on the time of the season.
Job Duties:
Event planning
-coordinating with partners
-contacting and coordinating volunteers
-attending events
-set up and take down
-helping with publicity (social media posts, etc.)
Ambassador program
-recruiting ambassadors
-coordinating ambassador events
Membership
-staffing select membership tables
-helping to distribute member swag at events
