Winners of the 2025 First Ski Contest

October 24, 2025 UPDATE: We have our First Ski winners!!
Joyce Tanihara, Art Trevena and their dog, Joey, are the winners of this year’s First Ski Contest. Joyce reports that there was 3-4″ of snow at County Line and they had a nice ski around the Dog Loop on October 24. The coverage was pretty good at just before 10am that morning, and their skis were gliding, not grinding. “It was a beautiful day,” she says. They will be receive some GMNC swag of their choice. No one correctly chose the date of the first ski.
