Women's Winter Wednesdays classic ski clinic meet each Wednesday at 10.30 am at County Line on Grand Mesa for a 90-minute ski session in safe and supportive environment. These clinics are designed for never-ever, beginner, and diffident skiers, to gain confidence on the snow, develop stronger skiing skills, and enjoy the Grand Mesa winter forest together. All that's required is your ski equipment and a willingness to have fun and learn together!
Attend any or or all four of the clinics.
Jane McGarry: Skiing is a great way to enjoy winter that's available to everybody, no matter your age, size, shape, or temperament. I've been skiing since I was 8 years old (in Vermont) and I think I love it more each year. It's been a pleasure to teach cross-country skiing here on Grand Mesa (both Gliders and adults) and downhill skiing in years past at Buttermilk and Snowmass. I especially enjoy working with adults who might be timid about taking up a new sport.
Jane will be joined by Susy Elison, an experienced GMNC instructor, when possible.
Susy Ellison: Growing up in Buffalo, NY taught me to embrace winter and all the wonderful things it brings. I love teaching on the Grand Mesa trails and helping new and experienced skiers find the joy in gliding across snow!
