Full Moon Bonfire and Ski Tour
The moon is waxing and almost full, and Sunday night will be an ideal time for a moonlight ski. The Nature Connection will have some pairs of strap on skis available for people who need them.
A guided group will leave from the County Line parking lot at 6:30pm to ski a suggested course (short, less than 5km). Snowshoers are also welcome. You're also free to do your own ski, of course, and join us in the County Line parking lot to warm up around a fire pit.
The fire will begin about 6:00pm. GMNC will provide hot chocolate (supply your own cup if you can) to share. Bring your own chairs, snacks and warm clothing. A headlamp is suggested as a backup in shaded areas. We'll keep the fires going until at least 8pm or the party winds down.
Although well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome, please consider leaving your furry friend at home, as temperatures for skiing can get very cold that time of evening and a nighttime ski may be unsafe for your dog.
