What is a GMNC Trail Ambassador?
The Grand Mesa Nordic Council Trail Ambassador program was started in the 2021/22 season and is a team of skiers and snowshoers that represent the friendly, welcoming face of the GMNC out on the trails. The role of the ambassador is to educate on rules and proper trail etiquette in a kind and inclusive way, to share one’s love and passion of Nordic skiing and/or snowshoeing, and to help ensure that trail-users of all levels and abilities have a positive, fun experience and stay safe on the trails. Additionally, Trail Ambassadors communicate with the public about GMNC’s grooming operations, programs, and membership opportunities. Skiers of all levels and abilities are encouraged to join this program.
