About the instructor
Eliane Wissocq has been skiing for 36 years. After leaving her hometown of Calais in Northern France, she landed in Crested Butte in 1983 and fell in love with skiing. She’s an active, longtime member of the Crested Butte Nordic community, where she created and taught a series of progressive skating clinics. She has extensive racing experience and a long history of giving back to the Nordic community. She moved full-time to Hotchkiss this year.

“I love sharing what I am passionate about and with skiing that means helping others make their skiing more efficient and therefore more enjoyable. Each technique aspect learned is an exciting step that makes cross-country skiing a fun, rewarding experience which to me, once proper technique is acquired, is a dance. Join me in learning to dance!”
