Learn To Ski On The Grand Mesa!
Thanks to a generous grant from the Surface Creek Community Fund and members Bill and Laurae Fortner-Welch, the GMNC is offering a series of three free learn-to-ski clinics this season. These clinics take place at the County Line trailhead. They are meant for beginners and teach the classical technique (diagonal stride).
Limited free ski rentals for this clinic are available from our gear sponsor, Summit Canyon Mountaineering. Once registered for the free clinic, our ski school director will contact participants by email with the details on this first come, first serve gear rental opportunity. Please do not contact the gear shops before receiving registration confirmation from GMNC’s ski school director.
Registration for all free ski clinics opens two weeks prior to the event. (Registration for this clinic will appear on this page on Dec 23.)
