Christie is passionate about Nordic skiing. She raced all over North America and Europe as an elite racer for Team Rossignal, but loves the skiing on the Grand Mesa the most. She’s been a GMNC member since 2004, was on GMNC’s board of directors from 2006 to 2016 and served as President from 2008 to 2011. Christie also serves as Vice President of the board of directors for KVNF radio and is currently Vice President on the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing’s board of directors. She’s the author of the New York Times bestseller, GOOD TO GO: What the Athlete in All of Us Can Learn from the Strange Science of Recovery.
