Jean Thomas Lambert Foundation
In 2007, awarded GMNC a generous grant allowing the purchase of a new PistenBully 100Nordic snow groomer. In 2013, another Jean Thomas Lambert Foundation grant enabled the GMNC to contract with the Grand Mesa Lodge to use their Bombardier groomer on a portion of the Skyway and County Line Trail Systems. On February 17, 2015, the Trustees of the Jean Thomas Lambert Foundation awarded GMNC a $44,000 grant for trail grooming and maintenance of the Nordic ski trails on the Grand Mesa at the Skyway, County Line, and Ward Trail Systems. The grant money will mainly be used this summer to clear all Nordic ski trails of rocks and trees to facilitate grooming as early as possible in the season and to prevent damage to snow grooming equipment.
