One pair of ski poles (60% carbon) found leaned-up against the bulletin board at Skyway.
These poles have two areas of damage, showing that they’ve gone through many miles.
I do not know if the owner intended to pass them on to anyone who was interested in poles that have a few more miles left in them or if someone forgot them.
I may have been the only skier at Skyway that day. When I got there, there were three snowmobiles in the parking lot, a group of hikers and later two families that were sledding on the hill. After almost 5 hours no one had returned to retrieve their poles, so I took them. I felt that the poles might fall into the wrong hands.
