We skied on about 5 to 8 inches of light snow over little to no base at County Line today, enjoying the sunshine and cool temperatures (16 F to 22 F). We went around Dog Loop, then took Tower Trail as far as Scales Lake Rd, and returned via Tower Trail. The snow was deepest in forested areas. We hit several rocks while crossing open areas, so rock skis are still advised for County Line. Though not yet groomed (except for the CL part of Scales Lake Rd), most County Line trails have now been tracked by skiers and snowshoers . Photo taken late morning 22Dec2017 along Dog Loop.
